Ancho Chile Candied Bacon

 
If I had to choose between a candy bar or candied bacon, I'd choose candied bacon every time! These will be a hit an any big game or party. 
 
 


ANCHO CHILE CANDIED BACON

 
INGREDIENTS

1 – 24 ounce package thick-cut bacon
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon ancho chile powder

PREPARATION

Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.

Place the bacon on a slotted pan or parchment lined pan and evenly coat the strips with brown sugar. Sprinkle with the chile powder and bake in oven for 20-25 minutes, or until thoroughly cooked. Serve whole as an appetizer or roughly chop for any game day dip.
