Swiss Chicken Pasta Salad and Casserole





SWISS CHICKEN PASTA SALAD

INGREDIENTS:

1 lb. Pasta (I like fusilli, elbows or cavatappi)
14 oz. bag frozen peas
2 cups shredded cooked chicken (approx. 2 chicken breasts)
2 cups Miracle Whip or Mayonnaise
1 cup cubed Swiss cheese
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper
¾ teaspoon dill
½ teaspoon garlic powder



PREPARATION:

Add pasta to boiling, salted water and cook for approximately 12 minutes. During last two minutes of cooking, add the peas to the pasta water. Drain and rinse the pasta/peas with cold water for 2-3 minutes.

In a large bowl, add all the remaining ingredients and mix well. Then add the pasta and peas to the mixture. Cover and refrigerate.


SWISS CHICKEN PASTA CASSEROLE

TAKE THE SWISS CHICKEN PASTA SALAD FROM ABOVE AND ADD TO A CASSEROLE DISH. TOP WITH SHREDDED CHEDDAR CHEESE AND BREADCRUMBS OR PANKO. BAKE AT 350 DEGREES FOR 30 MINUTES.
